The nature of this post may require the incumbent to travel and occasionally work away from their place of regular employment. They will bring an energetic and can-do approach with values closely aligned to those of nasen. The successful candidate will have experience in managing a large programme and/or multiple projects at the same time, preferably in the delivery of public sector contracts. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient project management across multiple contract strands and projects. Nasen is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to coordinate and manage the delivery of projects across nasen. It has brought together key stakeholder organisations from across the SEND community and encouraged collaboration between them. Since its inception in 2016, the WSS member community has grown to more than 20,000 schools, practitioners, policy influencers, charitable organisations, parents, children and young people. We have recently been awarded the DfE’s ‘Universal SEND Services’ contract which runs from 2022-25, and in the delivery of which our Regional SEND Leaders play a crucial role. The work of the consortium is based on the principle that the knowledge and expertise needed to develop the workforce already exists in the system and that knowledge exchange can occur through effective collaboration.įrom 2016 to 2022, the Department for Education funded the Whole School SEND Consortium to build capacity in the system through a strategic, school-led, review-based approach.
